Wilderness Friday Program

Going outside and learning from nature is valued at Fiddlehead Montessori! Our Wilderness Friday Program allows students take a day away from campus and receive hands-on learning experiences in our local woods.

Hear from the Parents

  • Becca and Ron

“It’s like a big family. You have kids that you love and siblings that you fight with. Everybody works through those problems to become more cohesive.”

  • Virginia

We feel so passionately that this is the way that children thrive— the way that kids develop a love of learning and an intuition for knowledge.”

  • Gustav and Anna

“There’s a gentleness and a kindness in the approach to learning. A freedom for the children to choose their own interests, rather than a one size fits all approach.”
